Introduction of Single Phase Pole Mounted Transformer
The working principle of the 167KVA single-phase pole-mounted transformer:
• Primary Coil: The primary coil of the transformer is connected to the high-voltage power source. When an alternating current (AC) flows through the primary coil, it creates a changing magnetic field around the coil.
• Secondary Coil: The secondary coil of the transformer is connected to the load or electrical system that requires the transformed voltage. The changing magnetic field induced by the primary coil causes a voltage to be induced in the secondary coil through electromagnetic induction.
• Voltage Transformation: The ratio of the number of turns in the primary coil to the number of turns in the secondary coil determines the voltage transformation ratio of the transformer. In the case of a 167KVA transformer, the primary voltage is stepped down to a lower voltage suitable for the connected load.
• Power Transfer: The transformed voltage in the secondary coil is then supplied to the load, providing the necessary electrical power for operation.
